Pepla is a water and active-lifestyle brand for people who are going places — inspired by life in the sun, the water, and the outdoors, and designed to give people the freedom to move through it their way.
The story starts with my sister Farah and I - we grew up in Ames, a small all-American town in Iowa, literally in the middle of nowhere. Our life was pretty basic, and we enjoyed a simple outdoor upbringing.
A bit later in life, we moved to Egypt - our motherland. The Egyptian North Coast is a core part of who we are as a family — it's where we became people of the sun. We've traveled everywhere around the globe - and we can say with full confidence that The Egyptian North Coast and The Red Sea are absolute gemstones in this world. In the water, you connect with nature like nothing else.
This is how and where Pepla came to life - on the golden sands and the turquoise waters of ‘Sahel’ - how locals coin the North Coast Mediterranean Beach Fronts.
Having lived in both the West and the Middle East, we can definitely say that the mainstream fashion industry just didn't cater to us or to the values we held. It didn't cater to the type of people we wanted to be in this world. The messages we were getting as younger girls encouraged us to focus on the importance of being sexy in public.
There was nothing telling you to make a difference in the world, or to beautify your mind as you do with your outer appearance - and there was absolutely nothing making you aware of the importance of your impact in this world.
For Farah and I, Pepla is a voice before it is a brand. It's a voice that loudly says attractive minds are far sexier than attractive bodies. It says health is your biggest wealth. It’s a call on people to maximize the potential of their lifetime by being active and “Going Places” - both figuratively and literally speaking.
Pepla is for purposeful, active people across the globe — those who want to make the absolute best use of their lifetime on Earth.

You should size up My son is only 1 year and 9 months old not even two and the 2 year old trunks where so small they won't even fit a 6 months old, and I'm not even talking about there length I'm talking about the elastic band and how small and tight it is. Even when I sized up for a 4years old size it's still smaller than his other swim trunks that were labeled 18 months old.
